Mobile addiction of Children – Curfew on time limit

Earlier there was news in June, 2023, that the entire small Irish town has banned use of smartphone by the children.

Now, unique, innovative and salutary policy is proposed to limit time of use of smart phone by the children.

There is a news that draft Public Consultation is now launched in China to curb internet addition and inculcating socialist values among children and teenagers as also positive role of internet.  Salient features

–         it will apply to the children below 18 years of age

–         to form good internet use habits

–         the mobile companies to apply “youth mode” function to control or bar gaming, live streaming broadcasts or giving gifts to live-streamers and content for below 16 years age children. 

–         “minor mode” to apply to children upto 18 years of age. This control system restrict daily usage for children and teenagers including curfew from 10 pm to 6 pm from accessing internet technology
