Provisional NEET UG 2026 Admission Pending ST Certificate Verification

Order dated 25.8.2026 of the High Court of Bombay in Writ Petition NO.11120 of 2026 of Aditi Ashok Nandapurkar   Vs.  The State of Maharashtra and others

The petitioner submitted application on 6.11.2025 to the Committee for verification of her Scheduled Tribe Certificate.   Pending said verification, the petitioner appeared in the NEET (UG) 2026 held on 21.6.2026.  The results were declared on 16.7.2026

On 14.8.2026, the petitioner applied for MBBS / BDS round

Admission to NEET (UG) 2026 CAP Process – Pending Verification of Scheduled Tribe Caste Certificate. She has made entry “Applied but not Received” against the query of “Do You possess caste validity?

However, the petitioner was denied registration and also appearing in the final merit list.

The High Court has granted interim relief to give provisional admission under the ST Category subject to the outcome of the writ petition.
