Judgment dated 30.6.2026 of the High Court of Bombay in Commercial Arbitration Petition (L) No.14180 of 2021 of Zawar Sales Corporation  Vs.  Reliance Petro Marketing Limited

The Arbitrator allowed the claim no.1 for Rs.5,62,500/- pertaining to the Distribution Agreement but rejected all other claims of Rs.40 crores.

The petitioners are           the distributors of the respondent for distribution of lPG cylinders vide agreement of 1.8.2002.

The Petitioners’ claim is founded on the loss allegedly caused by the extravagant and arbitrary increase in the price of the LPG cylinders/refills supplied, and by the sudden stoppage of supply by the Respondents
