RBI Staff Regulations – Reinstatement of Employee

While in service, the petitioner, in collusion with other employees, had tampered with the cheques through National Clearing Cell and defrauded various banks.

Charge-sheet for the offences of IPC and Prevention of Corruption Act was filed.

In the inquiry, he was dismissed from service on 30.8.2001.

However, he was acquitted  on 10.3.2015 in the criminal case. RBI has rejected the application of the petitioner for reinstatement in service.
