Deemed Approval – Telecom Infrastructure

Salutary decision dated 11.8.2023 of GoM for ease of doing business and speedy development of infrastructure – Grant of deemed approval to the applications pending MahaSanchar portal for grant of permission for telecom infrastructure development pending since 18.4.2003 or more. Similarly, the earlier period of 60 days pending applications is reduced to 30 days.    Such deemed approval concept should be made applicable to as much as public services and permissions required from the government or local authorities not only to speed up the implementation of the projects and ease of doing business.
