Outraging modesty of woman – Quashing of FIR – Unique condition on the petitioner to assist Delhi Traffic Police for 30 days
Section 482 of Cr PC – Quashing of FIR for offences under Sections 354, 506 and 509 of the IPC – Unique condition to assist Traffic Police at a traiffc signal for 30 days.
FIR of 2018 was registered against the petitioner for offence under Sections 354, 506 and 509 of the IPC.
On the basis of settlement between the parties on 21.3.2022, the petitioner filed section 482 Cr PC petition in the High Court for quashing the said FIR.
The High Court had quashed the FIR but imposed the unique condition on the petitioner to assist Delhi Traffic Police for a period of 30 days and directed the DCP Traffic to issue certificate on completion of the said period.
