Franchise Agreement to operate Farzi Café at Hyderabad by the Respondent for a period of five years expired on 26.7.2021.    However, the record of emails show that the parties were in regular communication for re-working royalty rates, execution and signing on agreement on new terms.   It was only on 9.8.2024 that the petitioner sent an email to the respondent to discontinue the operations and settle the outstanding dues.
