Landmark Collaboration -MOU – Post & Amazon reaching people through 1.6 lakh offices
PIB release dated 4.10.2024 give key highlights of the collaboration of Postal Department with Amazon – one of the world’s largest e-commerce companies for parcel delivery through 1.6 lakh post offices across the country including most remote regions.
This will empower growing e-commerce sector, enhancing logistical capabilities, creating job opportunities and ultimately, economic growth.
This partnership will bridge the digital divide by bringing e-commerce services to the rural and remote areas.
Now online shopping is brought to the door step of the rural and remote communities.
