IRDAI Circular dated 24.11.2023 – Discontinuation of filing of certain returns by the Insurers and the Insurance Brokers

Now the brokers and the insurers are not required to furnish the returns and the certificates as specified in the Circular dated 24.11.2023 issued pursuant to the notification of the IRDAI (Payment of Commission) Regulations, 2023.

1. Returns by Insurance Brokers as per Regulation 39(1)(d) of the Insurance Brokers Regulations, 2018 with the certificate.
2. Certification by Insurance Brokers in Form W Schedule II of the Insurance Brokers Regulations 2018
3. Certificate by the Insurers engaging Insurance Brokers in Form W Schedule II of the Insurance Brokers Regulations, 2018, signed by CEO and CFO of the insurer, separately to each broker.
