Termination of Bus Conductor on the allegations that although he had received ticket amount of Rs.5 from the lady passenger, he did not issue ticket and that, Rs.7 were found excess in his bag causing loss to the Corporation. Punishment of termination for such a trivial charge is unthinkable and beyond imagination. It is shockingly disproportionate and pricks the conscience of the Court. Moreover, it was held that the petitioner Bus conductor had given explanation that ticket of Rs.5 was issued to the lady passenger.
