Salutary decision and MOU of the Forest Department of the Government of Maharashtra with Savitribai Phule Pune University for advanced training of Range Forest Officers.
This collaboration will also a long way to equip the Range Forest Officers with advanced knowledge in environmental sciences, integrated training, strengthening capacity of the Forest Officers for conservation and management of forest resources.
As aptly said, this is a proactive approach to fostering a new generation skilled Range Forest Officers equipped to tackle the manifold demands of management of forest conservation and protection.
