Arrest & Detention by the Police – Important Circular dated 21.10.2023, check list for Police Officers and Guidelines of the Bombay High Court
In view of the directions of the Supreme Court in Criminal Appeal No.2207 of 2023 Md. Asfak Alam Vs. The State of Jharkhand & Another ( 2023 SCC Online SC 892) decided on 31.07.2023, the High Court of Bombay High Court has issued the Notification dated 21.10.2023 laying down guidelines in the matter of arrest and detention for implementation by the Police Officers and for guidance of the Magistrates.
